This quick and easy green sauce is the perfect barbecue side dish or delicious spread.

Hessian Grie Sooß a la Grandma Inge

Servings 6 person

Ingredients
  

Fresh herbs from the garden or frozen herbs: parsley, chives, sorrel, borage, tarragon, dill.

  • 1 packet frozen 8 herbs 100g
  • 1 packet frozen 6 herbs 50g
  • 1 bowl fresh cress
  • 400 g creme fraiche
  • 200 g sour cream
  • 300 g cream cheese
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 4 tsp mustard
  • salt, pepper
  • 7 eggs hard-boiled

Instructions
 

  • First, chop the fresh herbs and cress and purée them together with some crème fraiche or purée the frozen herbs TK-8 herbs, TK-6 herbs, cress and some crème fraiche together.
  • Now add the rest of the crème fraiche, sour cream, cream cheese, oil, lemon juice, mustard, salt and pepper and mix together.
  • Finally, boil 7 eggs, cut them into quarters or eighths and add them to the sauce.
  • Decorate it with herbs and egg and enjoy it as a dip or with jacket potatoes.
